  • Join us for a campout designed especially for families at The Morton Arboretum! Pitch your tent on the lawn inside the Children’s Garden and get ready for a night filled with fun. Friday, June 12 through Saturday June 13, 2020, 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
  • In spring, the forest comes alive with the comings and goings of its many inhabitants. Take a leisurely walk on a path surrounded by trees and look for squirrels building new nests, birds singing on branches, chipmunks rustling in the leaves, turtles basking in the sun, and other animals emerging from winter’s slumber.
  • After the stillness of winter, spring brings an exuberance of color, sound, texture, and smell! Enjoy the following ideas throughout the spring season in your own backyard or at The Morton Arboretum.
  • Join us for a live Arboretum Family Yoga online session! Friday, April 10, 2020, 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
  • Explore the Arboretum’s diverse tree collections and learn about the plants and animals that call them home in these guided, family-friendly hikes featuring a hands-on activity component. Saturday April 18, May 16, or June 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m. to noon.

  • Join us for a fun-filled adventure after hours at the Arboretum to explore the night's theme with a tram ride, activities, and a hike. Friday, June 5 or Saturday, June 27, 2020, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
