What membership option provides the best value?
Select a two-year membership option when you join or renew, and you can be assured that you have received the best value for your membership support. As our thank-you, you'll receive additional two-year benefits that include invitations to exclusive member Enrichment Events and free Acorn Express tram tour vouchers.
What is unique to your member admission benefits?
Unlike most membership programs, we do not limit you to a specific numbers of adults or children on your membership. If you choose a membership level that allows 4 admissions, like the Morton 4 for example, that means you may bring in any combination of four people, adults or children.
As a member, can I bring in additional guests?
Guests are $5 each when accompanied by a member (limit of two guests per member)! Guests are admitted at this special price when arriving with the member in the member's car. If a member and guests cannot fit into a single car, then two vehicles "bumper-to-bumper" may be admitted.

Is my membership refundable?
Memberships are considered tax deductible donations, and memberships to The Morton Arboretum are nonrefundable and not transferable. As a nonprofit institution, every membership supports our work as the champion of trees.
Is my membership tax deductible?
The cost of membership to The Morton Arboretum is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. The value of benefits received is insubstantial and the cost of membership is fully deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.
Can I buy a membership as a gift?
Yes, you can! Your gift recipient will receive great member-only benefits, including: free admission and parking 365 days a year, a 15% discount (or more!) on educational classes, 10% off on most purchases made at The Arboretum Store, reciprocal admission to more than 300 arboreta and gardens across North America, invitations to special member-only events, and much more. Do members always save on Special Event tickets?
Members always receive the best price on tickets for our Special Events, like Easter Brunch, Craft Beer Festival, and Illumination. Purchases can be made in person, by phone, and online through the webstore.
All members are able to use the online webstore for purchases by using their membership ID number, found on their permanent membership card (not a new-member temporary membership card).
As a new member you will be able to use the online webstore for ticket purchases after you have received your permanent membership cards by mail. This could take two to three weeks. If you have not yet received your permanent cards, please call or visit The Morton Arboretum to make ticket purchases at the member price. Our ticket line is available at 630-725-2066, and is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
When is Member Appreciation Month?

- All members may bring in guests, free of charge. To reserve the required timed-entry passes are required for both members and guests, please select "February Member Free Guest" at checkout.
- All members receive an additional 5% discount (on top of the standard 10%) in The Arboretum Store on Fridays in February. Please click here for updated Arboretum Store hours and information about different options for shopping, pickup, and delivery.
- All members receive a 10% discount in the Ginkgo Café (15% for any member at the Friend level and above). Please be advised that the Ginkgo Restaurant and its indoor seating options are temporarily closed to protect public health in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

How do I become a Perennial Partner?
As part of our member loyalty program called Member Milestones, we annually recognize those members who have been members of The Morton Arboretum for 10 or more consecutive years with no breaks in their support. We are grateful for this regular and ongoing support! These Perennial Partners celebrate each summer with special recognition. Last year, Perennial Partners with 10 or more consecutive years of membership enjoyed a six-day-long appreciation celebration. Perennial Partners enjoyed free tram rides, walking tours of the Arboretum, as well as other special discounts, and more! It's another reason to renew your membership today!
