Family Programs

Gain confidence in being your child’s nature guide in affordable Family Adventure programs. Together as a family, embark on moonlit tram rides alongside Arboretum experts who show you ways to partner in your child's learning. Events are a great way to engage families with children of different ages. LEARN MORE  


Children Programs

Empower your children to explore outdoors and ask questions about what they encounter. The Morton Arboretum youth classes, teach children fun facts about trees and the fascinating world of animal homes, planting rainbows, and using all your senses in nature —plus so much more. The Morton Arboretum master educators lead the programs, which are uniquely tailored to meet the learning needs and curiosities of each age group, from 18 months to 12 years. Programs are offered yearlong at reasonable rates. Learn more  

Children's Garden

Our four-acre Children's Garden offers adventures for all ages, from a tadpole-friendly pond to a windmill garden to a lookout high in the evergreen trees. And every day there are nature-themed drop-in activities. LEARN MORE


Science Camps

Introduce your children to nature's wonders. What amazing things could your child encounter? Bizarre bugs, wriggling frogs, and fairy worlds await. Every day is an adventure at Science Camp at The Morton Arboretum. LEARN MORE  


Youth Volunteer Program

This multi-year program offers teens opportunities to explore environmental education, tree science, and STEM experiences while helping others. Candidates for this May's virtual selection process must be entering 7th through 9th grades this fall 2020. LEARN MORE
